Terms of Service

Last updated July 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BriefTrust (the "Service"), operated by BriefAI LLC ("BriefTrust", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What BriefTrust is

BriefTrust provides an independent, AI-assisted analysis of your business's online public reviews, producing a verified score, a customer-insight brief, and a tamper-sealed record. It also provides tools built on that brief: a public page, a website trust bar, an email-signature badge, a machine-readable summary, and optional lead-conversion features you can enable — a "Call now" button, a customer-requested callback scheduler, and special offers — together with a dashboard of the resulting leads. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google. Your original public score is always displayed alongside our verified score.

2. Your authorization & consent

BriefTrust acts only on your instruction. By submitting a business and using the Service, you authorize and consent to BriefTrust accessing and analyzing the publicly available reviews of that business, on your behalf and for your benefit, to produce your verified score, your customer brief, and the related surfaces. You represent and warrant that you own, or are authorized to represent, that business, and that you have a lawful basis to give this instruction. You may withdraw this authorization at any time by deleting the business or cancelling your subscription. You may not submit a business you are not authorized to represent, or use the Service to misrepresent any business.

Lead-conversion features & your offers. If you enable features such as the "Call now" button, the callback scheduler, or special offers, you are solely responsible for the offers you create and for honoring them, for how and when you contact customers who reach out to you, and for complying with all applicable laws (including marketing, telemarketing, and consumer-protection rules). BriefTrust collects customer contact requests on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy, and does not send messages to your customers for you.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it. We verify ownership using a business-domain email before a page is published.

4. The analysis & outcomes — provided "as is"

Scores and briefs are generated from public review data using automated rules and AI. They are provided "as is" and "as available", may contain inaccuracies, and are not a substitute for your own judgment or professional advice. We do not guarantee any particular ranking, citation, traffic, lead, or business outcome.

No AI, search, or "GEO" guarantee. We do not promise or guarantee any result in AI assistants, chatbots, large language models, generative engines, or search — including whether, when, how, or how prominently any such system finds, cites, quotes, ranks, summarizes, or represents your business, or sends you any traffic or leads (sometimes marketed as "GEO" or generative-engine optimization). Those are independent third-party systems whose behavior is outside our control and changes over time. What we provide is your verified data in an accurate, structured, machine-readable form; whether and how any AI or search engine uses it is entirely their decision, not a result we can control or warrant.

5. Subscriptions & cancellation — no contract

Publishing a page requires a paid subscription, billed per location, monthly or annually; current pricing is shown at checkout. There is no long-term contract and no cancellation fee. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your dashboard. When you cancel, your published page is removed from active — it stops being public — at the end of your current paid period. Your account and verified data are then handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; by subscribing you also agree to its terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: reverse-engineering, scraping, or overloading it; interfering with its security; using it to violate any law or third-party right; or presenting a BriefTrust score or brief in a false or misleading way. You may not remove or alter the verified score, the review counts, or the tamper seal.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and the BriefTrust name and marks, is owned by BriefAI LLC. Your verified score, brief, and page are yours to present and share; you grant us the license needed to compute, host, seal, and display them for you. We may use aggregate, de-identified data to operate and improve the Service.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including a review-data provider (to fetch public reviews), an AI provider (to synthesize your brief), a payment processor, and hosting infrastructure. Your use may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BriefAI LLC and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BriefAI LLC and its providers from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your instruction to analyze a business you are not authorized to represent.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be subject to the courts located in Florida. Questions? Email support@brieftrust.com, or write to BriefAI LLC, 2950 NE 188th St, Aventura, FL 33180.
